Occupy Hong Kong

I arrived in Hong Kong two years ago exactly yesterday.

Last night the Hong Kong Police Force shot tear gas at non-violent protestors (and myself as a reporter).

The protests are a reaction to the Chinese Central Government’s decision to stymie democratic elections of the Chief Executive (Equivalent to Prime Minister but also the HK representative to China). Instead, the Chinese government will only allow elections for candidates they put forward.
